Summer Programs from Score Learning Centers

I have heard and read a lot about the Summer Program from Score Learning centers.

They can help children ages 4 to 14 throughout the summer in a tutoring environment to help out with your child’s academic progress.

It appears for nearly 15 years, SCORE! Educational Centers have been providing kids with a fun way to catch up, keep up, and get ahead in their studies and Summer Programs. As part of the Kaplan family, SCORE! works with children in grades pre-K through 10th grade to help them achieve their goals and reach their academic potential in math, reading, spelling and writing.

Score Summer Programs include personal academic coaching, positive reinforcement, and a customized curriculum that adapts to each child's pace and learning needs. If you have a son or daughter they could really benefit from something like this. And if you enroll by June 30th you can save $100.

This is really a great way to help your child catch up or even get a little ahead in their learning for many different subjects. And it is a mixture of fun learning with academics so your child will not be bored out of their mind during the summer months.

Score Summer Programs

Research shows that students lose an average of one month of learning over the summer break. Mainly because, kids like to spend their summers out playing with their friends or hanging in front of the TV.

Definitely, summers are essential for kids to relax and have some fun, but wouldn't it be nice if they could convert spend some of that time into a quality one, brushing up their learning skills?

Summer Camps help you do just that!

Score offers great opportunities for children of most ages… Help your child retain and gain knowledge in an engaging environment with SCORE Summer Camp Program. All SCORE! programs combine fun learning with academic progress and should certainly help your child start the school year with confidence.

Score Learning centers helps children ages 4 to 14 make significant academic progress in an innovative tutoring environment. and can benefit students and their parents. For families seeking the ultimate summer learning experience, the SCORE! MORE program features unlimited sessions and results in serious academic progress. The SCORE 30 program works best for families on the go with 30 one-hour sessions to be used at your convenience, either intensively or throughout the summer.

If your child needs help with a specific subject, the Summer Skill Builders help programs focus on particular skills and subjects and are available throughout the summer. For example, there Writing Summer Camp can help your child improve and practice writing skills in just four weeks, and the Study Skills Camp will help your child transition into a new academic year with the skills he or she needs to build confidence and achieve success at school.

They can also teach your early learner to read this summer with a Learn to Read program, which is perfect for students entering grades Pre-K through 2 and the program offers Math and Reading-focused programs, along with a variety of other Skill Builders that can be customized to fit your needs and schedule.

In short, this opportunity is mainly targeted parents who have plans in sending their children to attend Score Summer Camps.

Bombay.... drop by and say hi !

Formerly called Bombay, Mumbai India, is known for its chaotic street scenes.

Bombay (now properly called Mumbai) is a city of great contrast. One minute you can be surrounded by poverty and the next minute you can be in a cozy restaurant enjoying great food and wine. About 60% of the population lives in the slums. Most other people live comfortably in large apartments, and they typically have drivers and servants (such as a cook). Meals are usually really cheap or fairly expensive. And most visitors of the city are said to either love or hate it.

Mumbai is also the glamour of Bollywood cinema so if possible it would be nice to try and experience Bollywood (and hopefully be extras in a Bollywood movie)…would be fun.

There are shopping malls full of designer labels, cricket on the Oval Maidan, promenading families eating bhelpuri or having the famous Bombay Burger or the traditional masala chai teas and the masala dosais on the beach at Chowpatty, red double-decker buses queuing in grinding traffic jams and the infamous cages of the red-light district…..

It's a city with vibrant streetlife, India's best nightlife, and a wealth of bazaars. Outdoor bazaars top the list of attractions for the bargains for example shopping in Fort/ Colaba neighborhoods… you'll find very inexpensive scarves, necklaces, t-shirts, leather sandals and anything touristy. You can do some bargaining [which is fun], but at a certain point it doesn't feel worth it to make a fuss over what's only worth $1 to a traveler, even though if they are technically trying to rip you off by their standards….so have fun and just give in gradually…..

More sightseeing options are the Gandhi Museum, in the leader's former home, and the cave temples of Elephanta Island. For tranquility, Mumbai has many religious sites, lakes and parks. Popular waterfront destinations are Marine Drive, where visitors go to watch the sun set over the Arabian Sea, and the carnival-like Juhu Beach.

And for those inclined towards the media. Mumbai also enjoys an array of media in print and on the radio. English speakers are spoiled for choice as the major national papers have Mumbai bureaux and there are various English-language local papers and magazines.

November through March is very good. It is peak season, so make sure all your bookings are done in advance. Prices are higher at this time, of course.

The Pastor's Ass

The pastor entered his donkey in a race and it won. The pastor was so Pleased with the donkey that he entered it in the race again, and it won again.

The local paper read: PASTOR'S ASS OUT FRONT

The Bishop was so upset with this kind of publicity that he ordered the pastor not to enter the donkey in another race.

The next day, the local paper headline read: BISHOP SCRATCHES PASTOR'S ASS.

This was too much for the bishop, so he ordered the pastor to get rid of the donkey The pastor decided to give it to a nun in a nearby convent.

The local paper, hearing of the news, posted the following headline the next day: NUN HAS BEST ASS IN TOWN.

The bishop fainted. He informed the nun that she would have to get rid of the donkey, so she sold it to a farmer for $10.

The next day the paper read: NUN SELLS ASS FOR $10

This was too much for the bishop, so he ordered the nun to buy back the donkey and lead it to the plains where it could run wild.

The next day the headlines read: NUN ANNOUNCES HER ASS IS WILD AND FREE

The bishop was buried the next day.

The moral of the story is....that being concerned about public opinion can bring you much grief and misery...
So be yourself and enjoy... Stop worrying about everyone else's ass and you'll be a lot happier and live longer!

SPY SWEEPER IS THE MOST AWARD-WINNING ANTISPYWARE SOFTWARE

For those of you who have had problem with spyware and viruses on the net would understand the need for a good anti-spyware. While we take various precautions to protect our homes and cars from unauthorised access, the same can not always be said about our computer systems. It is no longer enough to rely on installing antivirus software and thinking the job was done.

The purpose of Spyware is to gather information that could prove useful and financially benefit third parties. Spyware can infiltrate your system during online activity or concealed within other items of software

Not only you have to reboot the whole system but also find a good anti-spyware tool so as to not let them pay a visit again. Besides, it takes a lot of time to fix the problem of viruses. You have to delete some of them manually if you find them of course!

Offering to help deal with this infiltration of your computer system is Webroot's Spy Sweeper, one of the most award-winning antispyware software These awards include the ones from PC Magazine, Download.com and PC World.

In one line........

SPY SWEEPER IS THE MOST AWARD-WINNING ANTISPYWARE SOFTWARE

It is said that Spy Sweeper has the most advanced spyware detection and let you browse where you want and when you want. While the actual software application may not have been updated, it is entirely possible that Webroot will have added new signatures to its list of Spyware definitions.

Adaware works pretty well - extremely well since it's free - but there are some objects that it can't delete because they are in use, even doing a safe mode start-up. SpyBot is also good, but not good enough to get rid of some of the viruses on your system. WinPatrol, also free has been being doing a good job of monitoring the various soft startup bellies, but ........

Spy Sweeper doesn’t cost that much if you are in need of a good antispyware software. The product is easy to use in that you can set it up and almost forget about it as it carries out its designated task. Updates are carried out seamlessly and, apart from messages asking for permission whether to implement changes or not, intrusion is kept to a minimum. You will need to be running Windows 2000/XP with a 300MHz processor, 15MB of hard disk space and 256MB of RAM. Pricing, including a year of updates, is in the region of $29.95.

The importance of laughter

The most powerful thing we’re given is our ability to laugh. It’s our greatest gift, especially if we can “laugh at ourselves” and not take ourselves so seriously

When you make fun of what frightens you, you get a mastery over it and gain control.

So go ahead, act silly. Let yourself act silly and share it. Laughter is contagious So, when you’re happy and you’re laughing it rubs off on people as everyone has a sense of humor, although few use it to the maximum

When you throw your head back and laugh, you’re not thinking of anything else. Laughter is the best thing you can do for your health. So, the old saying that 'laughter is the best medicine' definitely appears to be true. So, go ahead and just appreciate the importance of laughter.

It's a beautiful spring day and a man and his wife are at the zoo. She's got on a close-fitting, low-cut, summer dress with spaghetti straps. As they walk thru the ape exhibit, and pass in front of a very large gorilla which goes ape.

He jumps up on the bars, he grunts, he pounds his chest. He is obviously excited at the sight of the young lady in the sundress. The husband, noticing the ape’s excitement, suggests that his wife tease the ape.

The husband suggests that she pucker her lips and wiggle her bottom.... She does, and Mr. Gorilla gets even more excited, making noises that would wake the dead...

Then her husband suggests that she let one of the straps of her dress slips down....She does and Mr. Gorilla is about to tear down the bars....

Her husband suggests she lift her dress up her thighs and she does. This about drives Mr. Gorilla crazy....

Then quickly the husband grabs his wife, rips open the door to the cage, flings her inside with the gorilla, slams the door shut and gleefully rubbing his hands together says...... Now, tell him you have a headache.

The Vonage Forum And VoIP

If you’re looking for a good source of information for VoIP, that’s voice over IP (Internet Protocol), then I recommend you check out http://www.vonage-forum.com which is a very popular independent support site for the service Vonage.

Vonage is one of the most popular VoIP solutions and this is a great resource if you want to stay up to date on news, are a first time user, looking to buy, or have a specific question. VoIP stands for Voice over Internet Protocol. VOIP is the ability to transmit voice over the Internet and to either a receiving computer or telephone. VoIP works by Packet Switching Network. Standard landline telephones use the Circuit Switching Network.

Most people today prefer VoIP to Analog phones. Traditional or Analog phones are losing the battle against VoIP when it comes to cost effectiveness, standards, quality, and ease of use. Many people are choosing VoIP over Analog because of the many benefits that it offers. The main difference between Packet Switching and Circuit Switching, is that Packet Switching uses (data) or Packets and sends them over the Internet while Circuit Switching is accomplished by using electrical circuits to make a telephone connection. Circuit Switching is like the old switchboard operators, wearing headsets frantically trying to connect the right caller with the receiver. Packet Switching is used to transfer data all across the Internet- it is used for E-mail.

The forum is pretty popular and they have special offers on their site if you’re looking to signup. It has probably has more users registered than other general VoIP forums since this one is dedicated to Vonage VoIP related stuffs.

Vonage forum is a great place to visit for more information on how to make full use of your VoIP services or for any help and advise on trouble shooting. They also provide the latest news and reviews which you might be interested to know.

What is ReviewMe?

ReviewMe is a paid to blog service, from the same company as Text Link Ads., so there won’t be a problem re. trust, i.e., to say the paid to blog services is a 'get rich quick' scheme

To put is simply, ReviewMe is to help bloggers make money by blogging and help advertisers to increase site traffic, get feedback and promote their products via bloggers.

The site acts as a middleman for advertisers and bloggers, and allows bloggers to bid for reviews, or be personally selected by an advertiser.

Advertisers create a free account, and then choose reviewers (bloggers) for a product review, define the product and send the order. The minimum review fee is US$40 for each review. Advertiser cannot ask for positive review. Reviewer can decide whether accept the review order or not. Advertiser will get notified for each completed and published review.

For Bloggers, ReviewMe is another way to make money online. All you need to do is register a free account at ReviewMe

Submit your site and wait for advertiser to purchase review from you. You can decide to accept order or not. Your review should have minimum of 200 words and there must be a disclosure saying that the post is a paid post.

ReviewMe shares 50% of your revenue. You will get paid at least US$20 for each completed review. The payment is paid on a monthly base by a check or via PayPal.

Also, ReviewMe does not accept sites that do not meet their minimum requirements

So, in short it is a good paid to blog service

Pay Per Post Direct - Blog Ads

Pay Per Post [PPP] recently turned on PayPerPost Direct, a service that allows advertisers to directly select and contact specific bloggers for reviews.

The advantage is that the advertiser gets to target their dollars more specifically, rather than across a couple of broad categories. For the blogger, however, this is a big change and improvement, especially as compared to ReviewMe, SponsoredReviews, and LinkPost

If you're already into blogging and blog ads or are have been considering it, you're probably familiar with all 3 of these services. A few weeks ago, one of the only ways to make money blogging for PayPerPost was to monitor the [Open Opportunities] and grab the ones you like before they're taken up. This requires you to check in regularly throughout the day and keep up with the oppurtunities, if you want to make something with these blog ads ... Given below is a breakdown of the commissions charged by each for providing a similar service:

ReviewMe: 50% - they take half of every payment, requiring the blogger to either set a much higher price for the advertiser, or give up a BIG chunk of change. Payment comes around the first week of the month.

SponsoredReviews: 35% - the model is similar, but not exact. The blogger bids on opportunities within a given range, and the advertiser selects the most effective spend of their dollars from the bids presented. Payment comes two weeks after the post is approved.LinkPost: 30% - 50%, depending on whether the blogger wants to be listed passively in their directory, or if the blogger wants LinkPost to direct opportunities to them. Payment comes by the 10th of the following month.PPP Direct: 10%. Payment is released immediately upon approval of the post by the advertiser.

Pay Per Post Direct is a new service from Pay Per Post. Generally in Pay Per Post, the bloggers select the blog ads that they would like to do and must go by the price set by the advertiser. PPP Direct gives advertisers the chance to choose and control where their advertising funds gets spenWhile the competitors charge between 50-100% markup on your post, PPP Direct charge only 35% for their self service model.

Now why should you install PPP Direct?

Basically you get to keep more of what you have earned.

In Pay Per Post Direct, the blogger sets his own prices and the reviewer selects from the bloggers in the directory. It's completely logical and seemingly inevitable, but it's still a really big deal. Basically, you get a widget from PayPerPost which you have to embed it somewhere prominently on your blog. Here, you shall put up a price for the advertisers that you shall blog for.

Say, you put up $100 blog ad . When, he clicks on that widget so that you blog on him and you get paid. Earlier you could only earn a fraction of that amount as this $100 was divided among so many smaller bloggers. If an advertiser is clicking on your badge on your blog you should be keeping the majority of the money, no giving it to someone else. PPP Direct cuts out any middleman in transactions that are driven by your blog. You can still participate in other marketplace programs if you want to, but it doesn't make any sense to pay so much when you are generating the advertiser lead.

But in this case, PayPerPost Direct takes in only 5-10 percent of the advertiser amount, and from that about half of that is gone for transaction charges to PayPal and stuff. So, you as a blogger get paid the maximum extent possible.

Think about it.
